GO Samrakshana

“GO Samrakshana” - it means “the protection of Cows”. As per Aacharyaal words, Protection of cows is a dharma that can be performed by people of all communities in the world. In all vedic rituals, it is the practice to say

“Gobrahmanebhyahshubhamasthunithyam” meaning May cows and Brahmanasbe always happy. Here the cow is mentioned first. If the cow is comfortable the entire world will be happy. The importance of protection of cows is described in many puranas as well as in various scriptures.

Here, GOVEDA mainly concentrates in native breed of cows which is again greatly diminishing. A source says: India has several breeds of cows(about 30 main breeds and several sub breeds). Unfortunately¸ cross breeding is getting popular mainly for high quantities of milk for production. Hence, our native origin cows are facing extinction and really urgent steps are needed to save them.

GOSAMRAKSHANA is all about protecting Indian(native) breed Cows from extinction.
